Frequently Asked Questions
Taxumo eInvoice lets businesses create, send, and store invoices online. It is a digital alternative to manual invoices and can be used by different types of businesses, not just Large Taxpayers.
BIR EIS stands for Electronic Invoicing/Receipting and Sales Reporting System.
For Large Taxpayers and other covered businesses, EIS is not just about issuing invoices digitally. It also involves generating invoice data in a structured format and preparing sales data for electronic reporting to the BIR.
Any business that needs to issue invoices digitally can use Taxumo eInvoice. This includes freelancers, professionals, small businesses, online sellers, online merchants, and larger companies.
Taxumo eInvoice is not only for Large Taxpayers. If your business wants to issue invoices online instead of manually, you can use Taxumo eInvoice.

Large Taxpayers and other covered businesses that need to prepare for BIR electronic invoicing and sales reporting requirements should look for an EIS-ready solution.
This is especially relevant if your finance, tax, IT, or compliance team is reviewing invoice formats, ERP integration, data extraction, and future reporting workflows.
Taxumo eInvoice is designed to help Large Taxpayers and covered businesses prepare for BIR EIS requirements.
It supports structured, system-generated electronic invoices and integration-ready workflows, so businesses can move away from manual or semi-manual invoicing and prepare their finance systems for electronic invoicing and future sales reporting requirements.
Any direct reporting or transmission to BIR EIS will follow the BIR’s final technical requirements, registration or accreditation process, and rollout timeline.
Yes. Taxumo can work alongside your existing ERP, accounting system, billing system, or internal platform through API-based integration.
Your current system can remain the source of transaction data, such as customer details, invoice details, items or services sold, amounts, taxes, and invoice dates. Taxumo can then use that data to generate structured electronic invoices.
This is useful for Large Taxpayers and high-volume businesses that want to keep their existing finance workflow while adding an eInvoice layer for invoice generation, storage, and EIS-readiness.
Taxumo is designed to support businesses that issue invoices regularly, including those with high-volume invoicing needs.
For Large Taxpayers or companies with many daily transactions, Taxumo can help assess the right setup based on expected volume.
Yes. Under RR 11-2025, businesses that implement a compliant EIS invoicing and sales reporting system can claim an additional deduction from their taxable income:
Micro and Small taxpayers: 100% of total setup cost
Medium and Large taxpayers: 50% of total setup cost
This applies to both required and voluntary adopters, and can only be claimed once, in the year the setup is completed or the final payment is made.
